Shipping and Delivery
Once an order is placed the bone-white cane is usually shipped within seventy-two hours. Shipment of special order canes will take longer depending on your request. Your order must be complete. Please include the length cane you need, contact information, and complete street address. My Third Leg, Inc. cannot be responsible for delays in shipping once the package leaves the post office. My Third Leg will not take responsibility for lost or misplaced deliveries, due to incorrect shipping information supplied by the customer.
Shipping will be provided by USPS Mail. Once the cane is mailed I will provide a tracking number for your convenience. If the item is received damaged, act immediately. Take pictures of the damaged box and the damaged item. Then file a damage claim with the USPS.
Privacy and Security
Bob will do everything possible to ensure your personal information is kept private and will be safe and secure. Information provided to him such as billing name, address, company name, contact telephone, and other personal information provided by you will not be used for any purpose other than for processing your payment and delivering your order. Personal and financial information collected by My Third Leg will not be disclosed, sold, redistributed or otherwise used for reasons other than what is expressly listed on our website.
On the home page of my website is an order form. This is the preferred method of placing an order, but if you have a problem or questions Bob will be happy to assist you by phone (315 796-2263) or by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) . He is always ready and willing to assist you with any and all your needs.
Returns and Replacements
Complete customer satisfaction is a top priority for Bob. He personally guarantees a full refund on any stock cane that has failed due to a manufacture’s defect. Bob will accept your return and refund your money with no questions asked. A cane must not have been altered or damaged in any way and it must be returned within 30 days of purchase. The customer must pay return shipping charges and a 25% restocking fee. Please contact Bob prior to returning your order. Special order canes cannot be returned but every effort will be made to correct the problem. If not, a compromise may be made. Don’t hesitate to call to speak with Bob.
Please be aware that errors in payment can affect or significantly delay the original production and shipping time of your order. We cannot be held liable for orders delayed due to incorrect information provided by the customer. Orders paid for by check will not be shipped until full payment has ben received. My 3rd Leg reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason.
Bob does accept postal money orders, bank checks or personal checks. These should be mailed directly to My 3rd Leg, 2979 Mohawk Street, Sauquoit, NY 13456. If PayPal is used, please pay the additional $3.00 PayPal user fee. You will receive an invoice/bill soon after you place an order.
We encourage businesses to purchase stock canes from us at wholesale prices. There is a minimum order for wholesale canes and they must be delivered to one address. Please send an email to email@example.com if you have questions about wholesale prices.
Changes to your special order cane will not be allowed beyond the original date of purchase since production may have already been started. This does not apply to stock canes. Please see our returns and replacements policy above for any questions or concerns regarding returns and replacements. We do not accept order cancellations or refunds on special order canes but we do offer assistance in making things right.
International orders may be charged additional fees relative to estimated date of arrival, destination, freight charges and customs. Local duties and taxes and additional fees are the responsibility of the purchaser. Please contact us for area specific international shipping costs and contact your local customs office for other fees and duties or for further information on international custom procedures. Orders being shipped to Hawaii and Alaska may also require additional shipping charges.
Hold Harmless Agreement
My 3rd Leg canes are visually inspected for defects before they leave our facility. Each cane is made from the highest quality materials and is designed to hold as much as 25% of a person’s body weight. My Third Leg canes have been tested and certified by Pennsylvania State Testing Laboratory to withstand a minimum of twenty-five percent (25%) of the weight of a three hundred (300) pound person or seventy-five (75) pounds of direct pressure. With the exception of our money back guarantee, My Third Leg cannot be held liable for injury resulting from a cane that breaks or fails to support any individual. Due to the structure of any of our canes it is impractical and nearly impossible to determine their inner structure. Wooden and plastic canes may dry out and weaken with age and dropping a cane may cause fine cracks that weaken it. Even though My 3rd Leg has taken every possible precaution to guard against failure of a cane, it is always possible that one will break. If the cane is deemed defective it will be replaced or a full refund will be returned upon request. Use your My Third Cane at your own risk and report any indication of a potential problem as soon as possible.
Any person, customer, buyer, recipient, or individual who purchases or uses a My 3rd Leg cane for any reason agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless My Third Leg, Inc. and its officers, directors, agents, and employees from and against any and all liabilities, including reasonable attorney’s fees, charges, expenses and costs on account of or by reason of any such injuries, deaths, liabilities, claims, suits or losses however occurring or damages resulting out of the use or caused by My Third Leg, Inc. or its attendees’ negligence or willful misconduct.
My 3rd Leg, Inc. reserves and retains the right to change the terms of this agreement and its prices at anytime.
